At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.

How we support student wellbeing

The School Learning and Wellbeing Team (LWT) is a whole school planning and support mechanism which is responsible for coordinating and planning internal and external support for students with additional learning and wellbeing needs. These needs may relate to academic achievement, behaviour, wellbeing, disability or attendance.

The LWT aims to ensure that the needs of all students are being met. Using a three-tiered model of support addressing universal, targeted and intensive support for students, the LWT will support teachers to provide a fully inclusive education.
